A touchingly lovely little matrix Victorian Turquoise ring dating to the late 19th century. The pear shaped cabochon gem is of the finest bright Persian colourway and shows the natural matrix rock running through. The ring itself of 22ct Gold and fully hallmarked in 1887 at the London Assay Office with the monarch's head alongside the stamps. The band seems to have once been a wedding band and so is a sentimental piece fashioned from a family ring. The ring size measures an 'N' or '7' but could be altered a wee bit to suit.
